3 questions to ask before investing on fancy sporting equipment

With labor day sales coming up soon I start to question what equipment do i really need and what do i just want?

1. Do I really need a new pair of shoes? well most of the time no but it dose not hurt to have a variety of shoe to help you solve your problem or burn up that hard route.

2. Does Chalk Quality Matter? this one is up for a lot of debate I personally love Friction Labs gorilla grip (the blue bag) but I have herd good things about Black Diamond uncut white gold and plan to try it in the future.

3. When to buy? I personally try to hold of till sales unless its a must buy item (lets say atc worn out) I would buy the items needed in order to continue climbing safely. Now when it comes to accessories its will be a personal decision and mine is to wait for sales. Example the labor day sale will include all Black Diamond items at 25% off not a bad time to get a few things you have been holding off on.

Conclusion you don't have to spend a ton of money to climb safely and have fun just remember to be safe and seek training and guidance from trained professionals if your unsure of what your doing. This article is just my opinion I recommend lots of research. Thanks for reading hope this was useful to someone.
